Role summary

Director of Organizational Development for a newly established Center of Excellence at Merck. This strategic leader will own the full lifecycle of organizational development products and services, build enterprise capability across HR teams, and drive high-impact transformation initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.

Minimum 10 years progressive experience in organizational development, effectiveness, HR consulting, or transformation
Proven track record managing large-scale organizational initiatives in complex, matrixed environments
Deep expertise in organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and change management
Strong ability to influence senior leaders and operate collaboratively in consultative manner
Excellent facilitation, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience developing scalable frameworks, tools, and capability-building assets

What you'll be doing

Own end-to-end lifecycle of OD products and frameworks from design through implementation and continuous improvement
Lead enterprise-wide capability building by coaching HR leaders and business teams on OD methodologies and change management
Contribute to strategic direction and service offerings of the organizational development Center of Excellence
Execute complex, high-impact organizational initiatives including diagnostic sessions, design work, and implementation roadmaps
Partner with enterprise change specialists to integrate change methodologies into major transformation efforts
