Role summary
Amgen seeks a Principal Scientist to lead AI/ML integration across large molecule discovery informatics. This role requires translating computational models into production-ready solutions embedded in scientific workflows, leading a multidisciplinary team, and driving adoption across the R&D organization.

- PhD, PharmD, or MD with 5+ years directly related experience (or Master's with 8+ years, or Bachelor's with 10+ years)

- Lead transition of AI/ML models from research into production within large molecule discovery workflows
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary team responsible for AI enablement, data standards, and workflow integration
- Drive adoption by defining research-to-production handoff patterns and ensuring user-friendly scientist experiences
- Establish best practices for model reproducibility, documentation, governance, and compliance
- Partner with experimental and computational scientists to identify high-impact AI/ML integration opportunities
