Role summary
Medtronic seeks an Operating Room Sales Representative for the DC/MD/VA region to drive revenue through capital and consumable product sales addressing respiratory surgical complications. The remote position requires territory residence and regular travel to hospital accounts.
What they're looking for
- High school diploma plus 6+ years experience, or Associate's degree plus 4+ years experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory
- 4+ years medical device operating room sales experience with individual quota management (preferred)
- Experience selling to acute care hospital operating room environments (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication with exceptional client interaction skills
What you'll be doing
- Drive capital and consumable product portfolio sales to operating room and C-suite hospital personnel
- Develop territory opportunities and provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Identify, qualify, and execute sales strategies to maintain existing business and close revenue growth opportunities
- Deliver strategic messaging at trade shows, presentations, and board meetings; provide clinical product consultation
- Coordinate clinical evaluations, product education, in-servicing, and post-sales implementation support
