Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Manager of Finance to lead financial planning and analysis across Japan. This role partners with senior leadership to provide financial insights, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision support to drive business performance and organizational growth.

Minimum 10 years progressive finance experience including FP&A, forecasting, and budgeting
Demonstrated people leadership experience building and managing high-performing teams
Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE)
Experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, investment analysis, or M&A support

What you'll be doing

Own end-to-end planning and forecasting cycles including annual operating plans, strategic plans, and quarterly business reviews
Monitor and analyze financial performance including revenue, costs, margins, and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities
Partner with commercial and operational leaders to support strategic initiatives and optimize resource allocation
Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic planning and investment decisions
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team while driving continuous process improvement
