Role summary
Laboratory-based scientist supporting biologics drug discovery through in vitro and in vivo ADME and pharmacokinetic studies. Applies protein biochemistry and biophysics expertise to characterize clearance mechanisms and PK/PD relationships of antibodies, peptides, conjugates, and novel modalities.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years or Master's in biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, or related discipline
- Strong foundation in protein biophysics and biochemistry principles with translational application
- Hands-on experience with biochemical/biophysical characterization techniques (immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, mass spectrometry, SPR/BLI, fluorescence spectroscopy)
- Proficiency analyzing and troubleshooting data using GraphPad Prism, Excel, or similar software
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation practices, and ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaborative communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Perform routine and exploratory biochemistry and biophysics assays to quantify receptor binding, cellular trafficking, and DMPK properties
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and execute assays aligned with project needs
- Generate and analyze data with high attention to detail and maintain accurate electronic laboratory notebooks
- Contribute to automation solutions and semi-automated workflows to increase throughput and reproducibility
- Communicate experimental plans and results through written reports and verbal presentations
