Role summary
ICON seeks a Research Scientist to perform clinical sample testing, develop NGS-based assays, and conduct data analysis in a CLIA/CAP-accredited laboratory setting in Cambridge, MA. - Ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with laboratory automation, bioinformatics tools, or IVD test development preferred
What you'll be doing
- Perform clinical sample testing including nucleic acid isolation, quantification, library preparation, and result reporting
- Develop, optimize, and validate NGS-based clinical assays
- Author and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, validation plans, and reports
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal teams and external clients
