Role summary

Principal Scientist position in pharmacokinetics, dynamics, metabolism and bioanalytics within the R&D Division. The role involves leading drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic efforts across multiple therapeutic modalities, managing a team of scientists, and collaborating with cross-functional discovery teams based in Boston, MA.

Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field with 6+ years relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years experience
Demonstrated experience leading DMPK discovery efforts for small molecules, peptides, and/or protein therapeutics as independent project representative
Technical ability to design, optimize, and interpret DMPK strategies and analyze ADME and pharmacokinetic data using software such as Phoenix WinNonlin
Experience contributing to translational PK/PD/efficacy relationships and quantitative pharmacology applications in discovery settings
Proven management experience including mentorship and talent development of multiple direct reports
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced collaborative environment

What you'll be doing

Serve as project-team representative and subject matter expert on DMPK activities across oncology and immunology therapeutic areas
Design, implement, and analyze in vitro and in vivo studies to characterize drug disposition, pharmacological response, and safety properties
Manage team of lab-based scientists developing ligand binding assays and mass spectrometry-based bioanalytical strategies
Contribute to global DMPK strategy through collaboration with discovery and early development teams across multiple sites
