Role summary
Internship opportunity supporting in vivo pharmacology research at Kite, focused on CAR T-cell therapy development using mouse models. Interns will conduct preclinical studies, perform cell culture work, and gain hands-on experience with specialized laboratory techniques and data analysis methods.

- Ability to commit 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August
- Willing to work on-site at Foster City location; relocation may be required
- At least 18 years of age at internship start
- Preferred: background in molecular/cell biology, immunology, biotechnology, or related discipline
What you'll be doing
- Participate in in vivo murine studies, measuring tumor burden, monitoring body weight, and assessing animal welfare
- Perform aseptic mammalian cell culture for cancer cell lines and human CAR T cells supporting in vivo research
- Learn and apply specialized techniques including flow cytometry, molecular biology methods, and data analysis
- Maintain accurate study records and documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks following established protocols
- Deliver final presentation summarizing internship work and contributions
Compensation$19.00–$55.00 hourly
