Role summary

Labcorp seeks a financial analytics intern for a summer position (June–August 2027) to develop data-driven projects involving analytics, automation, business intelligence, and emerging technologies. The intern will collaborate with financial and technical teams to deliver insights and process improvements across the organization.

Current enrollment in Bachelor's degree program
Majoring in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Excel and data analysis from coursework or prior internships
Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with SAS, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or Python preferred

What you'll be doing

Deliver a defined summer project focused on analytics, automation, business intelligence, or process improvement
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights
Develop visualizations, dashboards, and reporting solutions to support decision-making
Partner with financial analysts and business leaders to understand requirements and evaluate automation opportunities
Present project results and recommendations to department leadership at internship conclusion
