Role summary

Medtronic seeks a Facilities Program Manager to lead capital projects across the complete lifecycle at its North Haven manufacturing facility. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, external service providers, budgets, and regulatory compliance to deliver safe, compliant work environments supporting global operations.

What they're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of facilities program management experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years
  • Experience managing capital projects in facility infrastructure, manufacturing construction, laboratory, or corporate real estate
  • Strong financial acumen including cost estimation, budget development, and forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability managing complex facilities and construction projects in med-tech or pharma manufacturing
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam) and AutoCAD/BIM
  • OSHA 30 Hour construction safety certification or equivalent safety expertise
  • PMP or PE certification preferred

What you'll be doing

  • Lead projects through full lifecycle from business case development through commissioning, occupancy, and closeout
  • Direct external design consultants, construction managers, contractors, and service providers to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives
  • Develop project business cases, manage capital budgets, assess risks, and monitor financial performance
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including facilities operations, quality, manufacturing, and site leadership on regulatory and commissioning alignment
  • Support procurement strategies, contract development, vendor selection, and commercial negotiations
