Role summary
Abbott seeks a Staff R&D Engineer for its Electrophysiology division in Plymouth, Minnesota. What you'll be doing
- Lead design and development of single- and multi-layer flexible circuits, including rigid-flex configurations
- Perform design for manufacturability and assembly reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain design documentation including ECAD data, Gerber files, BOMs, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and support prototype builds
- Interface with flex circuit suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved
