Role summary
Senior-level equipment maintenance technician role supporting automated manufacturing and packaging equipment in a GMP-regulated clinical trial environment. Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting control systems, and ensuring equipment reliability on second shift.
What they're looking for
- Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing; pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens systems
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities with schematic interpretation skills
- Familiarity with robotics systems and vision systems; Fanuc and Cognex experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in GMP cleanroom environments with PPE requirements
What you'll be doing
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled system issues independently
- Support root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and compliance documentation in GMP environments
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and production support to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on continuous improvement initiatives
