Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to serve the northeastern Bergen County area, acting as the primary customer contact for medical professionals. - Pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience preferred
- Product sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, or related therapeutic areas preferred
- Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
- Life Sciences or Business Administration degree preferred
What you'll be doing
- Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
- Deliver branded sales messages, conduct educational programs, and achieve sales targets in assigned territory
- Develop and manage customer relationships, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
- Analyze sales effectiveness, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and uphold Amgen values in all interactions
