Role summary

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Senior Scientist to oversee non-regulated bioanalytical and pharmacokinetic operations. This role manages CRO and vendor relationships, sample logistics, study coordination, and cross-functional execution of discovery and development activities.

PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, bioanalysis, or related field with 2+ years experience; or MS with 4+ years; or BS with 6+ years
Experience supporting nonclinical PK, pharmacology, toxicology, and bioanalytical studies in pharma, biotech, or CRO settings
CRO and vendor management experience including study coordination, contracting, and invoicing
Knowledge of bioanalysis and PK study workflows, sample management, and data reporting processes
Experience coordinating biological sample and critical reagent shipments domestically and internationally
Strong project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
Proficiency with electronic study/data management systems such as Benchling, Smartsheet, or SharePoint preferred

What you'll be doing

Coordinate non-regulated bioanalysis and PK operations from initiation through completion, including tracking and documentation
Manage outsourcing of BA, PK, and TK studies including CRO selection, setup, monitoring, and issue resolution
Coordinate critical reagent outsourcing, vendor relationships, shipping, and inventory management
Support PK study design, execution, and monitoring in collaboration with internal and external teams
Manage domestic and international sample shipments and serve as operational representative on project teams
