Role summary

Senior Manufacturing Scientist role supporting reagent protein purification operations at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. Subject matter expertise in protein purification techniques and chromatography methods (affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion)
Strong technical understanding of immunoassay processes with experience analyzing and interpreting data
Proficiency with analytical methods including HPLC, UPLC, IEP, IEF, SDS PAGE
Experience in regulated industry (FDA, ISO) preferred
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds

What you'll be doing

Provide technical expertise in immunoassay manufacturing areas, primarily protein purification work cell
Investigate and resolve non-conforming issues and assay failures during reagent testing
Lead multi-department teams to support resolution of manufacturing problems
Assess manufacturing processes and implement improvements targeting performance, quality, and cost
Develop, update, and maintain documentation and SOPs in compliance with quality standards
