Role summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director of Biomarkers in Immunology to lead biomarker strategy development across the immunology portfolio. Lead biomarker strategy development aligned with cross-functional stakeholders and immunology programs
Oversee assay development, validation, and execution across multiple platforms at internal and external CROs
Translate preclinical discoveries into clinical biomarker strategies supporting drug tailoring hypotheses
Manage and mentor biomarker team ensuring alignment with global sites and best practices
Serve as key liaison with diagnostic vendors, scientific partners, and internal stakeholders
