Role summary
Pfizer seeks a Senior Associate Platform Engineer to design and operate an enterprise AI agent platform on Azure. The role combines cloud infrastructure automation, security implementation, and hands-on development of agentic AI applications across the organization.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or related field plus 2+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform for Azure environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with telemetry, observability, and monitoring practices (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and operate the enterprise pro-code AI agent platform on Azure with Foundry integrations
- Build highly available Azure infrastructure using Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines for platform components
- Establish security controls including RBAC and policy guardrails aligned to enterprise standards
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting for platform reliability and observability
- Operationalize Microsoft Foundry and AI/ML services to enable agentic applications for development teams
