Role summary
Field-based sales representative position selling surgical technologies to healthcare providers across Western Connecticut and Poughkeepsie. Build relationships with surgeons and clinical staff, conduct product demonstrations in operating rooms, and manage territory growth through new business development and account expansion.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years outside sales experience or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years outside sales
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 20%
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritize work, and handle stress independently
- Medical device, surgical, or healthcare sales background preferred
- Experience with operating room environments and surgical procedures preferred
- CRM tool proficiency (Salesforce or similar) preferred
What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses, and key hospital stakeholders
- Lead product evaluations and demonstrations in operating rooms and clinical settings
- Manage territory by developing existing accounts and identifying new sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed sales goals and report progress to Regional Manager
- Provide technical troubleshooting and customer support on product applications
Compensation100% commission eligible for bonuses plus benefits
