Role summary
Principal Mechanical Design Engineer position within the Advanced Energy engineering team, responsible for design integrity and ownership of vessel sealing and surgical dissection product lines. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to drive product improvements, manage change initiatives, and ensure compliance with cost, quality, and reliability standards.

- Knowledge of medical device design, quality, and regulatory requirements
What you'll be doing
- Drive design integrity and ownership across multiple vessel sealing and dissection product lines
- Research, design, verify, and validate mechanical and electromechanical products and systems
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory functions on change management
- Recommend technology options and process improvements for safety, performance, and cost efficiency
- Mentor and guide lower-level engineers and manage technical project delivery
