Role summary
Manufacturing Process Technician role in bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing at Amgen's Rhode Island facility. Perform routine manufacturing processes in aseptic and non-aseptic environments, operating equipment and maintaining strict compliance with cGMP standards. Rotating 12-hour night shifts with 15% shift differential.

- High school diploma or GED plus one year manufacturing/operations or military experience, or Associate's degree
- Experience in GMP or other regulated manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles and drug substance manufacturing
- Ability to operate and understand moderately complex equipment per procedures
- Basic measurement, calculation, and metric system competency
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills for electronic batch records
What you'll be doing
- Clean equipment and parts using manual and automated methods
- Set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment, autoclaves, and clean systems
- Weigh, dispense, and handle raw materials and solutions per standard procedures
- Collect, process, store, and deliver samples; reconcile products and components
- Complete process documentation and calculations; adhere strictly to cGMP requirements
