Role summary
Field-based reimbursement specialist role supporting oncology healthcare providers across the Midwest. Responsible for educating providers on patient access programs, reimbursement processes, and specialty pharmacy options while maintaining relationships with key accounts.
What they're looking for
- Oncology or hematology-oncology experience with physician-administered therapies and buy-and-bill products
- Expert knowledge of medical billing, coding, prior authorization, appeals, and payer policies
- Understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and associated reimbursement dynamics
- Ability to communicate technical coding and billing requirements across all care settings
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for healthcare industry representative credentialing
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years in access, reimbursement, or account management (preferred)

- Advise providers on payer policies, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes
- Monitor and report payer trends related to approved oncology products to internal teams
