Role summary
Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Field Clinical Specialist for the NYC/Long Island region to provide clinical training and support for transcatheter heart valve procedures. - Minimum five years medical device, THV/TVAR, cath lab, or acute care clinical experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Extensive travel capability, approximately 60-70% of the time
- Clinical skills in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology strongly preferred
- Technician or nurse-level medical training highly preferred
What you'll be doing
- Provide clinical training on transcatheter heart valve technology to hospital staff and physicians
- Perform valve crimping, case management, and pre/post-case planning for THV procedures
- Develop clinical champions and implement growth strategies within assigned customer accounts
- Conduct device preparation, support physicians during implants, and manage complaint handling
- Partner with sales and clinical teams to plan physician and staff training programs
