  • Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or Physics preferred
  • Proven experience commercializing implantable medical devices including cardiac, diabetes, or neuromodulation systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of implantable device manufacturing including sensor integration, packaging, and reliability for in vivo use
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies: laser welding, wire bonding, micro assembly, and electronic testing
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually

What you'll be doing

  • Own end-to-end manufacturing strategy for heart failure implantable MEMS sensors from design through commercialization
  • Drive manufacturability optimization for design components, automated equipment, embedded software, and circuit tuning across product system
  • Develop complex manufacturing documentation including drawings, SOPs, process routes, and failure mode analyses at various release levels
  • Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for manufacturing processes during QST, DV, and pilot production phases
  • Create training and documentation for MEMS testing, sensor validation, laser processing, wire bonding, hermetic sealing, and circuit tuning
