Role summary

Medtronic seeks a Director of Identity and Access Management to lead enterprise IAM strategy, governance, and modernization initiatives across a global healthcare technology organization. This remote position reports to the Cyber & Information Security Office and oversees workforce identity, privileged access, authentication, and identity lifecycle services.

10+ years experience with bachelor's degree, or 8+ years with advanced degree
7+ years managerial experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or infrastructure security
Enterprise-scale IAM transformation experience across multiple business units and regions
Strong expertise in identity governance, authentication, authorization, and privileged access management
Experience communicating technical risk and program outcomes to executive leadership
Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (preferred)
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Define and execute enterprise IAM strategy, roadmap, and operating model aligned with organizational priorities
Lead end-to-end IAM portfolio including workforce identity, governance, privileged access, and lifecycle services
Establish IAM architecture standards, policies, and governance processes across global environments
Drive modernization of identity services through single sign-on, multifactor authentication, and zero-trust models
Oversee identity risk management, control remediation, and incident response activities
