Role summary
Illumina seeks an experienced attorney to serve as Director of Legal, managing commercial contracts, operational matters, and complex transactions from its San Diego office. What you'll be doing
- Advise on drafting and negotiating high-value strategic customer agreements and complex commercial transactions
- Partner with finance, commercial, product management teams on go-to-market strategies and initiatives
- Lead customer negotiations to align contractual terms with business priorities and maintain relationships
- Develop and improve contracting processes across customers, vendors, and collaborators
- Support M&A diligence activities and lead post-acquisition integration efforts
