Role summary

Amgen seeks a Development Analytical Reporting Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for clinical analytical reporting and data-review capabilities across Global Development. This role involves leading multiple teams, defining technology roadmaps, overseeing complex reporting solutions, and mentoring programming staff.

Demonstrated experience designing clinical reports, dashboards, visualizations and analytical datasets in pharmaceutical or biotech settings
Advanced proficiency in SQL and one programming language (Python, SAS, or R)
Experience with clinical data models, EDC systems, CDISC standards and data lineage
Technical leadership experience across cross-functional initiatives with mentoring capability
Practical experience with enterprise visualization platforms (Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau, or similar)

What you'll be doing

Lead end-to-end design, development and support of complex clinical reports, dashboards, visualizations and data-review tools
Define technical approaches, solution architectures, data flows and development standards for assigned initiatives
Translate clinical review needs into requirements, solution designs and prioritized delivery plans across multiple stakeholder groups
Mentor associate and senior programmers through design reviews, code reviews and technical coaching
Establish quality controls, governance standards and risk-based approaches for analytical reporting and clinical data review
