Role summary
Catalent Madison seeks a Group Leader for Analytical Development to lead a team of scientists in developing and optimizing analytical methods for biologics programs. The role combines technical expertise in method development with people leadership and cross-functional collaboration to support client programs from development through GMP manufacturing.

- PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or related field plus 2+ years laboratory leadership experience
- Master's degree in related scientific discipline plus 5+ years laboratory leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in related scientific discipline plus 8+ years laboratory leadership experience
- Analytical method development experience in biologics or biopharmaceutical environment
- Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Lead, mentor, and develop team of 5–10 scientists with technical guidance and career support
- Manage team priorities, workloads, and resources to deliver analytical development projects on schedule
- Oversee analytical method development, optimization, characterization, and technology transfer for biologics programs
- Review and approve scientific data, technical reports, and GMP documentation for compliance and data integrity
- Serve as primary client representative by participating in meetings and addressing technical inquiries
