Role summary
BD seeks a Manufacturing Training Lead to design and deliver training programs across its regulated medical device manufacturing facility in Glens Falls, NY. This role partners with operations and quality teams to build workforce capability, develop trainers, and drive continuous improvement in employee performance and compliance.

- Associate's degree in HR, Business, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
- 3+ years manufacturing environment experience
- 3+ years manufacturing training, workforce development, or L&D experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver manufacturing training programs
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration in operations, quality, and engineering
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design (preferred)
- Medical device or regulated industry background (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing training programs aligned with regulatory and quality requirements
- Lead train-the-trainer certification program; develop and coach production trainers and subject matter experts
- Create training materials including work instructions, instructional videos, and visual aids with proper document control
- Analyze training effectiveness using employee feedback, performance metrics, and quality trends to identify capability gaps
- Develop skills matrices and cross-training programs to improve workforce flexibility and support succession planning
