Advanced degree in biology discipline; PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or immunology preferred
10+ years managing scientific laboratory data in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry
Strong scientific background in chemistry, biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or pharmacology
Hands-on data modelling experience with ability to connect data across multiple source systems
Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Databricks language (SQL, Python/PySpark)
Familiarity with ELN, LIMS, and instrument or analytical data platforms

What you'll be doing

Define and drive holistic data strategy for modelling and managing connected scientific data in enterprise data lake
Partner with data engineering teams to define ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines for lab informatics systems
Own product vision, roadmap, and backlog for scientific data products based on scientific value and organizational impact
Design and govern data models capturing relationships across scientific entities to enable connected rather than isolated data
Translate stakeholder needs into clear data product requirements and drive aligned outcomes across scientific, technology, and analytics teams
