Role summary
This 10–12 week summer internship in the Research Labs Profiling and Expression department focuses on developing and validating a spatial biology panel for immune cell and fibroblast characterization. Interns will support assay development, workflow automation, and cross-functional collaboration in South San Francisco.

- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field
- Full-time on-site availability for 10–12 weeks starting May or June 2027
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, or microscopy preferred
- Programming experience in R or Python, or digital pathology image analysis skills preferred
- Graduate student (MS or PhD) status highly encouraged
What you'll be doing
- Support antibody evaluation, conjugation, staining optimization for PhenoCycler-Fusion platform
- Collaborate on workflow automation using Parhelia Spatial Station and related platforms
- Partner with immunology group on target validation studies
- Work with imaging and data scientists on image analysis and algorithm development
- Prepare final presentation summarizing findings and translational applications
