Role summary
This 10-12 week summer internship in Discovery Immunology offers undergraduate and graduate students hands-on training in cell and molecular biology techniques within a research and development setting. Interns will execute projects involving cell culture, genetic manipulation, and assay development while working alongside experienced scientists.

- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in biology, chemistry, or related field
- Completed coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or immunology
- Basic knowledge of immunology, cell biology, and/or molecular biology preferred
- Prior experience with mammalian cell culture and immunoassays preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Proficiency with Windows-based computers and standard applications
What you'll be doing
- Execute cell biology and molecular biology techniques including primary and cell line culture
- Perform genetic manipulations using CRISPR and related methods
- Develop and conduct assays with readouts including qPCR, Western blot, ELISA, and flow cytometry
- Contribute to projects studying new biology pathways in drug discovery
- Collaborate with diverse scientists within the immunology research group
