Role summary
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a part-time student to support technical documentation production, including writing, editing, and creating multimedia content for clinical diagnostic products in a Munich-based lab environment.
What they're looking for
- Enrolled full-time student in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, Life Science, Engineering, Informatics, or related field
- Excellent English communication, writing, and grammar skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members and subject matter experts
- Ability to learn software tools and follow written procedures
- Experience or knowledge of content management systems, XML, and DITA (preferred)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, XMetal, Microsoft Office, or similar tools (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Create and revise technical documentation content in the company's Content Management System
- Write and edit documentation texts for regulated medical device products
- Produce multimedia assets including photographs, screenshots, 2D figures, 3D animations, and videos
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance to gather information and obtain approvals
- Learn and apply company procedures, style guides, and terminology guidelines
