Role summary
AbbVie seeks laboratory animal care technicians (Level I or II) for a 24-month fixed-term position at the Ludwigshafen site. What you'll be doing
- Provide daily animal care including feeding, watering, housing unit transfers and cleaning
- Monitor animal health, document and report deviations; Level II assesses urgency
- Perform animal identification and manage electronic animal tracking systems
- Support veterinary examinations, treatments, procedures and conduct approved euthanasia
- Execute cleaning and disinfection protocols; Level II manages authorized H₂O₂ fumigations
