- Proficiency in value engineering, process development, should-cost modeling, and DFA/DFM/DFx methodologies
- Strong project management and vendor leadership capabilities
- CAD design software proficiency (SolidWorks, Pro/e, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of FDA, NSF, CSA, UL, and ISO 13485 regulatory standards
What you'll be doing
- Drive cost reduction and manufacturing scale-up initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Identify and resolve supplier quality issues to maintain production standards
- Develop and manage sourcing strategies for mechanical components, assemblies, and fabricated parts
- Lead and coordinate supplier activities and projects with up to 20% global travel
- Build should-cost models and conduct technical analyses for sourced materials
