Role summary
Sartorius seeks a Technical Sales Specialist for gene therapy in the North Carolina area to identify and convert new business opportunities through technical selling, product demonstrations, and trials within a defined portfolio.

- 3+ years technical sales, applications support, or pre-sales experience in scientific environment

- Excellent consultative communication skills for diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes
- Willingness to travel over 50%; must reside in North Carolina
What you'll be doing
- Identify and engage prospective customers through proactive technical hunting and new business generation
- Plan and execute technical demonstrations and trials to validate customer fit and accelerate adoption
- Drive deal progression by addressing technical objections and positioning solution value
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and transition accounts to Central Sales
- Capture and share customer insights and competitive feedback to influence product portfolio
