Role summary
Senior Product Security Engineer responsible for cybersecurity oversight of fielded medical devices and supporting systems. The role manages vulnerability surveillance, field security event assessment, risk analysis, post-market compliance, and security operations for devices across the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health R&D organizations.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity with 4 years relevant experience
- Master's degree in related field with 2 years relevant experience
- Extensive product security, cybersecurity, or regulated product development experience
- Experience with vulnerability management, CVSS scoring, threat modeling, and SBOM/SCA tools
- Knowledge of medical device regulations including FDA guidance and ISO 13485 standards
- Strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
What you'll be doing
- Monitor, assess, and investigate vulnerability signals, field complaints, and suspected security events affecting released products
- Conduct security impact and risk analyses; coordinate remediation efforts and issue disposition
- Maintain visibility and oversight of security assets including keys, certificates, and signing infrastructure across fielded products
- Support post-market recertification and remediation in response to evolving FDA, EU MDR, and regulatory requirements
- Represent Product Security during regulatory audits, corrective actions, and quality review boards
