Role summary
Senior HR Generalist position supporting Northern Europe across multiple countries within Cepheid, a Danaher operating company. The role independently resolves complex HR cases, advises leadership on policy matters, and drives process improvements across the employee lifecycle.

- 5+ years HR operations, shared services, employee relations, or HR generalist experience
- Ability to independently resolve sensitive, escalated, and ambiguous HR matters with sound judgment
- Proficiency with HRIS, case management systems, and reporting tools
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience identifying trends, improving processes, and influencing outcomes without direct authority
What you'll be doing
- Resolve sensitive, escalated, and non-standard HR cases across employee lifecycle and relations matters
- Advise people leaders on documentation, process requirements, and policy application within governance standards
- Partner with HR Service Delivery, People Partners, and Legal teams to ensure effective case resolution
- Support Germany employee representative processes and coordination of global commercial HR projects
- Identify recurring case patterns and contribute to root-cause problem solving and process improvements
