Role summary
Senior Director position supporting pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic strategy for early-stage drug discovery through IND/CTA advancement at a research-driven biopharmaceutical organization. Requires deep PK/PD expertise and strategic leadership to guide portfolio evaluation across multiple therapeutic areas and emerging modalities.
What they're looking for
- PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Biology/Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry
- 12–14+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharma
- Deep theoretical and applied understanding of PK and PD for therapeutic proteins
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and lead PK/PK/PD studies and data analysis
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with PK/PD software such as WinNonlin and data visualization tools
- Experience with siRNA, peptides, CRISPR-based, and cell therapy modalities preferred
What you'll be doing
- Serve as subject matter expert on preclinical and translational PK/PD for discovery-stage project teams
- Collaborate across internal functions to develop and execute PK/PD strategies for projects
- Oversee preclinical in vivo studies and manage nonclinical PK and PK/PD studies
- Analyze and present PK and PK/PD data to project teams, management, and regulatory bodies
- Prepare regulatory submissions and first-in-human dose predictions with Clinical Pharmacology
