Role summary
AstraZeneca seeks a Medical Affairs Manager for amyloidosis in Hamburg to develop medical strategy, manage scientific activities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and external experts on pharmaceutical projects and clinical research.

- Preferred: 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Preferred: Sales experience in cardiovascular, oncology, nephrology, rheumatology, or related specialty areas
- Knowledge of payer systems and product reimbursement processes
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
What you'll be doing
- Communicate clinical product benefits to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
- Execute territory sales strategy through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person/virtual engagement
- Develop and manage customer accounts, addressing reimbursement issues and maintaining product contracts
- Analyze sales effectiveness, territory performance, and provide feedback to inform strategy
- Share best practices and support team growth while maintaining focus on patient impact
