Role summary
QIAGEN seeks a Quality Control Specialist in Gdańsk to perform analytical testing and support validation activities for molecular testing products. The role involves independent lab work, documentation management, and process improvement initiatives in a collaborative quality assurance environment.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related life science
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in Quality Control or laboratory setting
- Experience supporting or participating in validation activities
- Hands-on expertise with molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR, SDS-PAGE, electrophoresis)
- Fluent Polish and English at minimum B2 level
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to dynamic, changing priorities
- HPLC experience considered a strong asset
What you'll be doing
- Perform analytical testing independently using approved methods and quality standards
- Conduct in-process quality control analyses on manufacturing samples
- Prepare buffers, reagents, and laboratory materials for routine testing
- Create and maintain quality control documentation including SOPs and validation plans
- Support implementation and qualification of new quality control methods
