Role summary
Medtronic seeks a Senior Technical Service Specialist to support the Affera cardiac mapping and ablation platform across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Western Europe. - Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or related technical field
- Field service experience in medical devices, aerospace, or highly regulated industries
- Demonstrated ability to service, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electronic or electro-mechanical systems
- Experience performing installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance at customer sites
- Fluent English language skills, written and verbal
- Extensive travel capability throughout UK, Ireland, and EMEA region
What you'll be doing
- Perform site assessments, installations, inspections, and maintenance activities for Affera systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to optimize system performance and customer uptime
- Serve as primary technical liaison providing expert support throughout product lifecycle
- Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers, distributors, and clinical teams
- Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Engineering, and Quality teams to support customer needs and product performance
