What they're looking for
- 5+ years software quality engineering experience in regulated industry
- Knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 13485, 21 CFR standards and regulations
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Independent ownership and execution of quality activities with minimal supervision
- Quality or regulatory certifications (ASQ, AAMI, RAPS) preferred
- Experience mentoring junior engineers preferred
What you'll be doing
- Act as software quality subject matter expert and primary quality partner for assigned projects
- Provide end-to-end quality support across software development lifecycle with ownership of deliverables
- Review and approve development deliverables including plans, requirements, design documents, and test reports
- Participate in software risk management activities and design reviews throughout product lifecycle
- Support software-related issues including complaints, CAPA investigations, and systemic improvements
