  • 5+ years experience in systems, design, integration, or test engineering in product development
  • Demonstrated hands-on test experience with complex instruments or multidisciplinary systems
  • Strong test fundamentals: test strategy, experimental design, acceptance criteria, data analysis, troubleshooting
  • Systems thinking with root-cause analysis and engineering risk assessment skills (FMEA or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering practices: requirements, interfaces, traceability, design controls
  • Experience in life-science instrumentation or flow cytometry preferred

What you'll be doing

  • Drive systems integration activities for Flow Cytometry, coordinating microfluidics, acoustics, optics, electronics, and firmware subsystem interfaces
  • Plan and execute hands-on engineering testing for feasibility studies, integration checkout, and troubleshooting investigations
  • Identify interface, timing, performance, and cross-subsystem issues through controlled system testing
  • Lead structured root-cause investigations by reproducing, isolating, and characterizing failures across teams
