Role summary
GE HealthCare seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and debug mixed-signal circuit boards and electronic subsystems for next-generation MRI platforms. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years designing and debugging electronic hardware
- Demonstrated mixed-signal board or subsystem design expertise
- Hands-on experience integrating analog circuitry with microcontrollers, processors, or similar digital devices
- Proficiency with schematic development, component selection, board bring-up, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with embedded interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB, PCIe, or comparable)
What you'll be doing
- Design, implement, and verify mixed-signal circuit boards and subsystems for MRI platforms
- Perform component selection, schematic development, circuit analysis, and board bring-up activities
- Define and validate electrical interfaces across hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical engineering
- Lead or contribute to verification approaches, root-cause investigations, and signal/power integrity activities
- Support product lifecycle from early architecture through production, including mentoring and design reviews
