Role summary
Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director to architect enterprise-scale AI and digital systems across commercial and medical operations. - Define and maintain target-state architecture across Commercial and Medical ecosystems with governance standards
- Own integration patterns and data flows across Salesforce, Veeva, and enterprise platforms with event-driven design
- Lead architecture decisions for build vs. buy solutions and establish DevOps deployment patterns
- Ensure architectures meet compliance, security, and observability requirements with embedded controls
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate requirements into production-ready system designs
