Deep expertise in high-throughput DNA sequence analysis, alignment, and variant calling workflows
Demonstrated experience developing ML models including GLMs, kernel methods, tree-based algorithms, and neural networks on biological data
Strong Python programming and Linux command-line skills with statistical packages (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib)
Familiarity with public oncology databases such as TCGA, COSMIC, or OncoKB
Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders in collaborative team settings

What you'll be doing

Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models supporting cancer detection in minimal residual disease settings
Execute end-to-end research analyses from concept through implementation, troubleshooting, and performance validation
Translate experimental design requirements into computational workflows while maintaining quality control across diverse sequencing datasets
Communicate model performance and findings to cross-functional teams and contribute to code quality standards
