Role summary

Amgen's ARIA Computational Biology team seeks a computational biologist to apply data science and disease biology expertise toward identifying and validating therapeutic targets. Excellent presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences
Background in immunology and single-cell oncology or inflammatory disease data analysis (preferred)
Experience with long-read transcriptomics, isoform complexity, or transcriptional foundation models (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Extract biological insights from multi-modal omics and screening data to characterize disease mechanisms and identify novel targets
Develop and leverage computational methods to prioritize therapeutic targets across diseases and guide target characterization
Design discovery approaches for novel disease-enriched isoforms using long-read and proteomics technologies
Partner with data science and information systems teams to integrate analyses into integrated R&D platforms
