Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field; or Associate's degree with 1–2 years laboratory experience
Experience with protein and nucleic acid analysis techniques: SDS-PAGE, gel electrophoresis, UV/Vis spectroscopy, or fluorescence-based assays
Ability to calculate molarities and prepare biological buffers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical abilities
Comfort with ambiguity and collaborative, fast-paced environments

What you'll be doing

Purify proteins using column chromatography and filtration techniques
Perform functional and physical assays to evaluate protein purity and stability
Generate buffer systems and formulate protein solutions to specified conditions
Create, track, and maintain enzyme and buffer inventory records
Document experiments accurately and write summaries contributing to reports
