Role summary
Medtronic seeks an experienced sales representative to manage pain therapy device territory in Charlottesville, Virginia. What they're looking for
- High school diploma plus 8+ years medical device/healthcare sales experience, or Associate's degree plus 6+ years, or Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance with acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of reimbursement climate and managed care preferred
- Experience calling on physicians in neurology, physiatry, oncology, or primary care preferred
- Familiarity with implantable devices, operating room environment, and referral network development preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently to customer sites
What you'll be doing
- Sell implantable neuromodulation devices to physicians, institutions, payors, and medical staff in assigned territory
- Partner with strategic implanting centers to develop accounts through technical support and business consultation
- Manage account relationships, reimbursement matters, and coordinate support activities for territory growth
- Develop referral networks and present marketing and business plans to accounts
- Maintain quality system compliance and follow all applicable work procedures
