Role summary
Quality Engineer II responsible for ensuring medical device products meet established quality standards through audits, inspections, and testing. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external suppliers to implement quality objectives and drive continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant quality engineering work experience
- Proficiency with blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Knowledge of QSR/ISO regulations, design assurance, FMEA, and product testing
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Experience with optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred; medical device or orthopedic industry experience preferred

- Develop and implement procedures, specifications, and standards for products and manufacturing processes
- Design and execute corrective and preventative action plans to address quality issues
- Collect and analyze data for equipment calibration and product performance evaluation
- Identify critical resources, equipment, procedures, and materials required for new product development
- Ensure suppliers have necessary documentation and capabilities to deliver quality products
